The Rose Garden at Elizabeth Park in Hartford peaks right around Father's Day in June. The many arches in this garden, are covered with blooms, and there are rows upon rows of different varieties of roses. Painted Plein Air, there were many people picknicking, having their photos taken in their graduation, or other fine clothes I spotted this mother and daughter, and this girl just wouldn't stay still for her portrait, the very frustrated mother stopped to care for the babe in the stroller, and I snapped the shot quickly. I love the backlit white dresses, and the story it tells.
