The first painting that I did of this rural Connecticut town scene sold on opening night of the show, so I was requested by gallery manager to paint the scene again, so here it is. There are changes, the size (a little larger), and the people in the scene. A night scape, so I used dark blue and violet for the sky and warm yellows for the buildings. Painted in oil on mounted linen panel. Chester, Connecticut, a Quintessential New England Town.
