Oil on stretched canvas 20x30 framed in 3 inch wooden frame with gold finish. Impressionist style using interplay of opposite colors. The sun was low in the sky, wrapping the light around the bend in the shallow river. The river runs along the state lines of Connecticut and New York in Litchfield county.
